About the Event
The holidays can stir many emotions — especially when someone we love is missing. Whether this is your first Christmas or your twenty-first without your child, you are not alone. At our Christmas gathering, we will continue our Let Grace In tradition of creating a memorial ornament in honor of your child. This simple act of remembrance offers a tender way to include them in the season and to feel their love woven into your family’s story.
Following our gathering, families are also invited to attend Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women’s annual Memorial Tree Trimming service at Central Union Church (date TBD). You are welcome to take your ornament — or any ornament — to adorn the tree among other children remembered in love.
