About the Event
Our Hope Retreat engages bereaved families in a variety of holistic activities with Let Grace In's compassionate team and offers an opportunity to revive health in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self while developing meaningful relationships with families who have suffered a similar loss.
The retreat is offered to the whole family and will have programing for parents and children. We are able to accommodate up to 12 families at retreat. First time families will be given priority registration.
The ONE BEDROOM will be a room with private complete bath, 2 twin beds, bedside table, card table, lamps, overhead fan and 2 chairs. Linen is provided for beds, please bring towels for beach and bath. (Gouveia family of 4 has stayed in a 1-bedroom room by adding a blow up full/queen air mattress which fits snug at the base of the beds.) A pack n play or camping cot would also fit comfortably with the two twin beds in this room. (LGI has a handful of child sized cots to lend if needed as well- please inquire with Gabby@letgracein.org)
The TWO BEDROOM accommodation will have a private complete bath with 2 rooms with 2 twin beds each. This is a total of 4 twin sized beds. We only have a total of 4 of these accommodations and they are all on the ground floor.
There is a shared kitchen in the lodge with sink (limited refrigerator/freezer space will be available for special diets, children's milk, etc. LGI will be storing snacks/fruits in this refrigerator as well.) Please bring your own water flasks to refill.
- We have 2 ONE-BEDROOM handicap accessible rooms available. All ground floor bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.
The BUNK HOUSE can be reserved by single bed. The cabin accomodation has bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each room (total 4 single beds), and one room in a shared space with one bunk bed (two single beds). Entire cabin Sleeps 16 people maximum. Small refrigerator provided. Bathroom consists of two warm water showers, two sinks and two flush toilets. Rinse off shower available outside. Linens are NOT provided for these BunkHouse cabins. Please bring your own toiletries, sheets, blankets, pillows & towels. If you do not have sleeping bags/twin sheets, please let us know. We have a couple sets to borrow.

*If in need, scholarship assistance is available. We firmly believe that financial limitations should not impede anyone's participation in retreat. Our aim is to ensure accessibility and inclusivity, fostering a space where all can benefit from this transformative experience.
Your registration donation* includes:
- 3-night stay in the lodge or bunkhouse (see details above).
- 8 meals starting with Dinner on Friday night and ending with Breakfast Monday morning prior to check-out, plus snacks
- All programing & supplies for adults and children. Holistic activities will include: Facilitated Family therapeutic activities, Move your body activities (workout/Yoga/martial arts), Art Therapy excercises, Massage, Facilitated Sibling focused grief activities, Â Healing touch, Camp Fire, Group share time and more with our LGI programs team & volunteers. (programs subject to adjust)
- Wireless Internet service available throughout the lodge.
- Parking at the Retreat site for one car per family in the lot upon entry. Â A code to the gate will be messaged to you prior to retreat.
Health & Saftey policy: In an abundance of caution for the safety of all attending, please only attend if all of your family is well.
