THE BENEFITS OF Meditation with LABYRINTHS AND SMALL FINGER LABYRINTHS

Traditionally you walk a labyrinth. The mind is doing the activity of focusing on the labyrinth because they path needs to be focused on. The rest of our deep intuitive nature is allowed to come forward because the mind is occupied in a very solid way, which can be helpful if we are storing a lot of emotion, like grief.

One 2001 study found that walking a labyrinth provided "short-term calming, relaxation, and relief from agitation and anxiety" for Alzheimer's patients. Others show that everyone from pediatric cancer patients to nurses feel happier and less stressed after a good labyrinth walk. 

We will be using the finger labyrinth. It offers many of the same gifts as walking it does, with a number of added advantages and possibilities, foremost among these being portability and accessibility. You will be able to take one home to use in your own grief journey whenever you feel the desire to return to it.

I'm Emma, a holistic practitioner, creative, a sensory soul guide, lover of tea, travel and books and a small business owner just to name but a few ways I choose to live life!

Iʻm an English girl married to a native Hawaiian. My husband Glen is the fire chief for the state of Hawaii

We have one daughter together, Lily (17yr) who is an amazing painter, storyteller and muralist (and inspires me every day to create) and I have two step kids and 3 grandkids

I've been living on Oahu the last 21 years so this is home now along with York England where my parents live - pre Covid I would travel between the two as family is very important to me and spending quality time together making memories is a priority!!

As a practitioner of holistic therapies for almost 33 years, my passions lie in  clinical Aromatherapy, Depth Numerology, Elemental Astrology with an emphasis on the Moon, Yoga Nidra, labyrinth facilitator and Sound Healing.

I use my extensive knowledge of ancient healing practices to create unique sound- infused sacred anointing oils and tinctures.

I believe Hawaii called me (all the way from England!) to this ancient energetic land – the heart chakra of Mother Earth, the perfect location to hear the senses of our Soul and to be in harmony with nature and our natural rhythms. It is with deep gratitude that I continue to share the “mana” of these beautiful islands through my work today as a soul medicine artist guiding you back to wholeness - a deeper understanding of who you are at a Soul level.

I value and celebrate art ,creativity of all kinds and the beauty of nature as a Spiritual practice and strongly believe our senses are the pathways to healing and medicine for the Soul.
