About the Event

Come as you are as we explore grief through the lens of love with practices grounded in Grief Movement and the Expressive Arts. We will play with movement, breath, sound and words through a series of no-skill, arts-based activities. You will be invited to tune into your senses and discover resources within yourself that perhaps you didn’t realize you had. We will encourage each other to trust the process as we notice what emerges along the way, and practice being with each other - in grief and in love - as we each find our unique way forward.

Facilitators

This event will be co-facilitated by Gabby Gouveia, Grayson's Mom/yoga and grief movement coach, and Eun Ho Lee, a Masters candidate in Expressive Arts Coaching & Consulting. Eun Ho is currently an intern with Let Grace In. She has been a volunteer inner healing minister, mentor and trainer at Bluewater Mission for five years. Her current therapeutic curiosities center around the topics of soul-making, health-full being, and rest.

The Grief Movement portion of our day will include guided rituals using movement, breath and sound to release pain, tap into resilience, & reconnect to more empowerment and love.  The grief yoga practice was founded by Paul Denniston of www.griefyoga.com. His intention with Grief Yoga is to combine many different forms of yoga in order to help heal grief. All movement can be done seated in a chair.  Dress Comfortably.
