About the Event

Forest Bathing, is good for both physical and mental wellbeing. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity, as well as lower heart rate and blood pressure, boost the immune system and accelerate recovery from illness. We will be tapping into the weath of our island and allowin ourselves to be fully present in nature.

Our guide will be Lizabeth Kashinsky who has been working in the field of conservation in Hawaii since 1995. Through her work, she has had the great privilege of working for several weeks at a time at remote field stations within the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument. Her experiences living and working at some of the most remote islands on the planet with very limited  contact with the outside world allowed her to experience life changing deep connections with wild nature, inspiring her to pursue a Master’s degree…
