Who We Are

Let Grace In is a locally-grown 501c3 non-profit organization on Hawaii’s island of Oahu. We support families after the death of a child for any reason, from the perinatal period through young adulthood. Let Grace In was established on January 11, 2017 by the Gouveia family in honor of their 5-year-old son, Grayson. Our organization provides bereaved families monthly events, guidance toward existing grief resources, and Hope Retreats. Our Hope Retreats are held over an extended weekend & provide space & time for families to acknowledge their pain together, share their stories, participate in activities that reduce anxiety, memorialize, & promote self care. Our monthly events serve as 'mini-retreats' by engaging families in a variety of healing activities and nurturing ongoing relationships with others on the grief journey.  Both offer an opportunity to revive health in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self while developing meaningful relationships with families who have suffered a similar loss.

Our Heartfelt Desire

Our mission is to Restore Hope to families after the death of their child by building community & fostering physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

We are enough for one another, just as we are. Maybe our presence seems almost too simple, but maybe it's also simply what we need from each other the most. "The human soul doesn't want to be fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed-- to be seen, heard, and companioned exactly as it is."- Parker Palmer
