Who We Are
Let Grace In is a locally-grown non-profit organization on Hawaii’s island of Oahu. Our organization provides bereaved families monthly family events, guidance toward existing grief resources, and Hope Retreats. We serve families after the death of a child for any reason, from the perinatal period through young adulthood. Let Grace In was established on January 11, 2017 by the Gouveia family in honor of their 5-year-old son, Grayson. Together with the larger Honolulu community, our goal is to offer a safe space to recover the strength of mind, body, and spirit with ALOHA.
Monthly healing activities and the Hope Retreat are an opportunity for families to come alongside each other, share their stories, participate in activities that reduce anxiety, memorialize, and move into the future with their child. Hawaii’s natural healing power, professional grief counselors, integrative therapies, cultural practices, and physical exercise can help families re-engage with the world despite the challenges grief presents.

Our Heartfelt Desire
Our mission is to Restore Hope to families after the death of their child. We are enough for one another, just as we are. Maybe our presence seems almost too simple, but maybe it's also simply what we need from each other the most. "The human soul doesn't want to be fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed-- to be seen, heard, and companioned exactly as it is."- Parker Palmer
